Peter Cklamovski wants his side to show resilience during their upcoming matches

Salford City manager Peter Cklamovski wants his table-topping side to show their resilience during a key run of upcoming matches.

The Ammies have won seven in a row, are three points clear at the top of League Two, and four of their next six games are at home.

Cklamovski told BBC Radio Manchester: "We're building a team that's ready for any challenge in a game, whether that be the opponent and their style, their characteristics and features, or the weather – it doesn't matter.

"Rain, hail, shine or snow - that's the mentality we're building on a daily basis here."

The first of those home matches is against Exeter City on Saturday.

Cklamovski insisted: "We need to continue to grind through the process of getting better every day, and not get too far ahead of ourselves, or look back and think about how good the run is. It's irrelevant now."

Carlisle United captain Morgan Feeney has agreed a two-year contract extension until the summer of 2029, while the club have also signed Stockport County's Callum Camps in a two-month loan deal.

Feeney, 29, is in his second spell with the Cumbrians, having rejoined them in June last year.

He previously spent two years with the club and helped them win promotion from League Two through the play-offs in 2023.

"It's been something I've wanted to sort out for a while, and I'm delighted we've finally got it done," Feeney said.

"This club means a lot to me, and being able to continue representing and captaining Carlisle United is something I'm proud of. I'm looking forward to continuing to work hard and helping the team progress."

Camps arrives after making 122 appearances for Stockport since joining them from Fleetwood Town in 2022 and is eligible to face Harrogate Town on Wednesday.

Boss Rob Elliot said of his new recruit: "I think his experience will really help some of the young midfielders we've got, strengthen the squad and really add quality in terms of on the ball and around the goal."
