Ian Hunt takes on your calls on drilling for oil and gas, adoption and extreme sport

Should we be drilling for oil and gas in the North Sea? The UK Government has approved production from the Jackdaw gas field. Ministers said the first gas could be produced by the end of this month, helping heat millions of homes. However, environmental campaigners said the decision would hamper efforts to tackle climate change and make "no meaningful difference" to UK energy security. It’s been reported today that the Government’s Energy Secretary is minded to refuse approval for the Rosebank project - which would become one of the biggest oilfields in the North Sea.
