Damien O'Kane and Ron Block in session
Anna is in banjo heaven with virtuosos Damien O'Kane and Ron Block in session, and Breabach share their new album, Gathering Ground.
Two outstanding musicians from opposite sides of the Atlantic join Anna in session. Irish banjo maestro Damien O'Kane and Grammy Award-winning American banjo virtuoso Ron Block. best known for his work with Alison Krauss and Union Station, bring together the rich traditions of Irish folk and American bluegrass. With dazzling musicianship, inventive arrangements and infectious musical chemistry, the duo share music, stories and conversation about their transatlantic collaboration.
And in keeping with the Transatlantic connections, Breabach share their brand new album, Gathering Ground, which features Hootie and the Blowfish star Darius Rucker and members of the Grand Ole Opry house band from Nashville.
