Vernon hears about what's making you smile on Good News Wednesday and we have two more song choices from legendary songwriter Bernie Taupin in today's Tracks Of My Years.

It’s Good News Wednesday so Vernon hears about what is making the nation smile today.

Two listeners take on Vernon's mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top, and Vernon delves into the BBC archives for Vernon's Vault.

In Tracks Of My Years, we hear more from songwriter Bernie Taupin, including a strange encounter he had with his musical partner Elton John when the pair were invited to meet Brian Wilson from The Beach Boys.
