The government is set to announce a new code of conduct to strengthen driver's rights when they park on private land.

It's one of the biggest issues consumers contact us about. Fines for not paying to park (when you have), fines for small mistakes like inputting a digit of your numberplate incorrectly, receiving letters too late to pay a reduced fine, and whether the appeals process is fair.
