How do I get work experience?

How do we prepare to enter the world of work?

It’s something we’ve all been asked since we were little... what do you want to be when you grow up? But as we get older and start thinking about our futures, figuring out how to get our foot in the door can feel like a whole different challenge. If you’re starting to think about your future but feel unsure about finding work experience, making the right connections or preparing for the world of work... you’ve come to the right place!

Plus, in hour two Oré and Shanequa will be joined by Rosaleen who is a career coach, who will be helping us unpack findings from an exclusive BBC Radio 5 Live and Bitesize’s Teen Summit survey of 2,000 school students.

Produced in Salford by Audio Always for BBC Radio 1.
