Vernon's mid-morning fun includes delving into the BBC archive in Vernon's Vault, but where and when are we going to today? Plus, two listeners take on the mid-morning music quiz Ten to The Top.
In Tracks Of My Years, we continue our ten-track journey through the life of a special guest - and this week it's legendary songwriter Bernie Taupin. Today he tells Vernon about the time when John Lennon dragged him onstage with Elton John at New York's Madison Square Garden arena, and how he felt when Joni Mitchell updated some lyrics to one of his most successful songs.
All amongst some great music to keep you smiling through the morning.
