'Greatest football photographer' from New Parks
Peter Robinson from New Parks was once described by the New York Times as 'arguably the world's greatest football photographer'.
He’s originally from New Parks and New Parks Library is now exhibiting a selection of his work, which is available to see until March 2027.
Peter Robinson's career has seen him cover numerous world cups, working as FIFA's lead photographer and before that a photographer for the publication Football League Review.
After spending his childhood on the estate, Peter went on to do a photography course at De Montfort University, formally Leicester School of Art – and all that despite not even having a camera of his own.
