Write On

Available for over a year

Listeners react to news the British government is to cut funding of the World Service, and a listener points out that BBC radio news broadcasts during the Second World War opened with a four-note motif from Beethoven's 5th, not, as stated, from his 9th symphony. Presented by Paddy Feeny.
