Short Wave Cutbacks

Available for over a year

There is reaction to the news of cutbacks in World Service shortwave broadcasts to the USA, Australia and New Zealand; a request for more time for listeners' opinions within World Service Sports programmes and a discussion on what a runcible spoon is. The programme begins with a letter from a listener concerned about an outbreak of 'abbrevation syndrome' at the BBC.
