37. July - Picking Peas and Watering Wisely

Available for over a year

Down to earth advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda Valley. As the weather finally warms up it's time to pick some peas . The 70 plants are climbing up the twigs and forming plenty of flowers, so there's a chance for an allotment snack. Terry has advice on watering - how much to drench the plants, how often to water and even the optimum temperature to keep the crops happy and productive. If you have a question for Terry e mail AskTerry@bbc.co.uk and attach a photo of your crops if it's helpful. Producer: Lynda Shahwan
