Guernsey's Chloe De La Mare said helping Great Britain reach the finals of the Padel World Cup has been "incredible".
The 16-year-old is part of the British side that will head to Qatar next month to take on the best in the world in the tournament.
De La Mare helped Great Britain win all three of their group stage matches in Madrid before beating Poland to qualify.
"It was such a good experience," said De La Mare, who is ranked 259 in the world.
"I never imagined it would come this soon and to actually get the match that decided GB to qualify in Qatar was just incredible.
"I didn't think I'd play, let alone be trusted to play all three matches."
De La Mare is part of an eight-strong team that will take on world leaders such as Spain and Argentina, having helping Great Britain reach the finals for the first time since 2021.
She was called up to the British team in September and finished as runner-up in the women's national championships with partner Victoria Nicholas earlier this month.
"It's the first time we're at a World Cup in a good few years so it's going to be a really good experience," De La Mare added.
"Just to play against those players will be really, really cool and see how we can do.
"My goal is just to keep playing and keep training keep getting better and keep playing for GB."
