Durham fast bowler Sam Conners has signed a new one-year deal to keep him at the club for the upcoming 2027 season.
The 27-year-old joined Durham from Derbyshire in 2024, having taken 167 wickets in 90 matches across all formats for his former county.
Conners' time at Chester-le-Street has been plagued by injuries which have limited him to just seven matches across all formats in his two seasons so far.
"I am delighted to sign an extension for the next year; these past two years have been very frustrating with injuries, so I am grateful that the club and Ryan [Campbell - director of cricket] have given me this opportunity," Conners told Durham's website., external
"I will be doing everything I can to get myself back in the park and give back to the club that have stuck by me."
