Phil Parkinson says the presence of co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac at Wrexham's draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers once again gave the club a significant lift.

The Hollywood duo were in attendance as Lewis O'Brien's first goal of the campaign earned the Red Dragons a 1-1 draw following Adam Armstrong's opener at the Racecourse Ground.

Following the draw, Parkinson stated everyone connected to the club is lifted when the duo attend a home fixture.

"It's always very uplifting, I feel, for the people who work at the club, first of all, the players and the staff when Rob and Ryan come over," he said.

"The crowd as well, they're uplifted by the owners being in town.

"I communicate with them when they're back in the States, but equally it's good to have a chat with them when they're over."

The draw means Wrexham have claimed four points from their matches with promotion-hopefuls Middlesbrough and Wolves this week on the back of what was a disappointing 1-0 loss to Sheffield United last weekend.

Following the defeat by the Blades, Parkinson raised concerns over the lack of a "Wrexham feel" to the display, something they rectified in fine fashion by beating Boro five days later.

Having ensured they go into the final international window of 2026 in positive spirits, Parkinson stated the presence of Reynolds and Mac in north Wales has once again helped to highlight the importance of togetherness at the club.

"Whatever division we've been in, when Rob and Ryan have been here, I think it's good for the players to see their connection with the club, how much they care and how much they're watching from afar," added the Wrexham manager.

"Since day one we've been in it together. I always say that when we've done well and have got promoted, how everybody at this club has got this enormous togetherness and that starts from the very top."
