British teenager Hannah Klugman won the biggest title of her career with an impressive performance against Elsa Jacquemot in the final of the Lexus Wrexham Open.
The 17-year-old defeated her French opponent 6-2 6-4 to clinch the W100 title without dropping a set all week.
She becomes the second successive British player to win the Wrexham title after Wales' Mimi Xu last year, and is the youngest Briton to win a singles trophy at W100 level or higher.
Klugman pressed the world number 157 straight from the first game. Despite missing her first two break-point opportunities, she got her reward just two games later.
A double break for the Briton sealed an emphatic first set, and she picked up where she left off in the second, racing to a 5-1 lead.
In the biggest match of her career so far, Klugman had to fight to get over the line. Jacquemot got back to 5-4 before the home favourite served out the victory at the second time of asking.
"I was shaking afterwards, but just so, so happy and proud of myself again," said Klugman.
"It's been such an amazing week and to top it off with a win at such a high-level tournament, these are big moments for me as a young player."
More British success followed as Freya Christie and Eden Silva beat Japan's Hiroko Kuwata and India's Ankita Raina 6-2 6-3 in the doubles final.
