  3. Waste dumped at a disused quarry in Hartlepool. There is a enormous mound of shredded rubbish sloping down a hole at the quarry among the soil. Three people in high visibility clothing are at the top of pile and look tiny in comparison to the size of the heap. There are rocky cliffs surrounding the pile with shrubbery and grass on either side. The sky is grey with large clouds.

  4. A close up of a big blue sign with Durham Constabulary's crest is in front of the white Durham Police headquarters. A tiny part of the building can only just be seen beyond thick green hedges. The sign stands in a grassy park area with a traditional police lamppost in the background.

On either side of the building site are small parks covered in grass which has browned slightly. The right side is largely green, which the left shows a road with multiple cars parked, a block of flats as well as warehouses in the distance. The top of the white curved Millennium Bridge is visible in the distance, as is the curved, glass roof of the Glasshouse. Newcastle's skyline is even further in the distance.
