Mageean continued to have 'faith in people and faith in kindness'

Tributes continue to pour in for the late Portaferry athlete Ciara Mageean, who passed away on Sunday aged 34.

Mageean was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in May 2025, but continued to be a shining light with her courage.

In an interview with BBC Sport in June, Ciara thanked well-wishers for their support and prayers.
