KG Rabada's first four overs this morning. Relentless...

I agree with that, Phil. He always touches 90mph, rarely errs on line and can move it both ways. A generational talent.

The imposing Cameron Green gets his first boundary with a punch through the off side off Wiaan Mulder. Between deliveries, Green pauses and exhales. He knows what is riding on this.

I feel like Rabada is slightly under-rated in the grand scheme of things. 350 Test wickets at an average of 22 is outrageous. He's one of the greatest bowlers of the modern era.

And another. Australia's key man is back in the sheds.

Rabada probes that off-stump line, Head takes the bait and Marco Jansen gobbles up the catch at fourth slip.

That's Rabada's 350th Test wicket. Only Dale Steyn has reached the landmark faster for the Proteas.

South Africa to Travis Head so far...

When it's wide, he scores. When it's straight, less so.

Here's a reminder of what Australia are up against. They've done similar before, mind...

  7. Aus 17-2published at 6 overs

South Africa are making Australia work for every run. Aiden Markram makes a good stop at backward point, shortly after Head fends another off his moustache. Just two leg-byes in the over.

Rabada looks a different man from the first innings when he wasn't well.

  9. Aus 15-2published at 5 overs

    KG. Stop it!

Rabada bowls a beauty which shapes away from Travis Head and leaves the left-hander swinging his bat like a rusty gate. The Rolls Royce is locked in, says Graeme Smith.

Head just smiles then legs it to the other end the moment he gets the chance to nick a single. Though it does mean he keeps the strike to Marco Jansen.

  10. Aus 14-2published at 4 overs

Jansen continues with the shorter stuff to Green but the Australian number four is more secure after that scare earlier in the over. Maiden.

  11. Aus 14-2published at 3.1 overs

Cameron Green should put the lottery on. Marco Jansen gets one to rear up mamba-like and a leaden-footed Green fends it off and the ball almost drops on to his own stumps.

  12. Aus 14-2published at 3 overs

Rabada is running in hard here, getting nice shape and testing the technique of the batters. Cameron Green is the new batter and he is off the mark with a single through point.

Feel for Labuschange here - seems fidgety and uncertain, similar to how Pope was in the Ashes before he was dropped. Needs taking out of the spotlight to work on his technique and approach.

    Target 288

What I enjoyed most about that opening over - apart from Marnus being pinned lbw - was how Graeme Smith, one of the best captains in Test history, was wondering out loud why Rabada was bowling round the wicket to Renshaw. Cricket never follows a logical pattern.

Travis Head gets off the mark with a beautiful driven four before slashing at the final ball of Marco Jansen's over to edge four more over gully's head.

    Labuschagne lbw b Rabada 4 (Aus 5-2)

Cape Town is rocking now. Marnus Labuschagne, who has got under the skin of the South Africans in this series, has to walk. He didn't last long and the four he did get was fourtunate. KG has Australia 5-2.

Marnus might be gone here. He shoulders arms to one which Rabada swings back into his pads. Plumb... the finger is up... he reviews.

Head might be the key here. If he gets going in the first 10 overs, the total looks very different.

Bad news for those wanting a pair for Marmite Marnus - he gets a fortunate boundary with a squirt off the outside edge and through the gully region.

It is one of the worst ways to get out. South Africa have their reward but not how they would have planned it.
