Have your say on The Hundred

  1. Brave 17-0published at 11 balls

Cassidy McCarthy is under pressure straightaway in her second set.

Lizelle Lee waits for the ball to come to her this time and cuts it past the fielder at point for her second boundary of the innings.

It's a shot of authority that from Maia Bouchier. The pressure built by McCarthy has been released a bit there.

  3. Brave 13-0published at 10 balls

Maia Bouchier has done much of the heavy lifting for Brave with the bat this season, alongside Laura Wolvaardt, and you feel a good start for the opener could be crucial for her side's fortunes.

She appears to be in fine touch here with the second boundary of Kate Cross' set - a lovely four down the ground with some equally good footwork involved.

That is an absolute heave of destruction. Utterly brutal.

  5. 6 runs

    Brave 8-0published at 7 balls

And there we have the first maximum of the day.

And it is a big one at that off the bat of Lizelle Lee.

  6. Brave 2-0published at 5 balls

Great start from Sunrisers Leeds and Cassidy McCarthy as she limits the Southern Brave openers to two runs from the first five balls.

Kate Cross takes the ball from her, hoping to continue to the good work.

  7. Brave 1-0published at 3 balls

After two dot balls to begin, Lizelle Lee gets Southern Brave up and running with a single into the leg side.

It's a scorcher here in south London.

Last year, this is the game that provided one of, if not the defining story of The Hundred in its history when a teenage Davina Perrin struck a 42-ball hundred in Northern Superchargers' victory.

Let's hope that today's encounter produces something equally as memorable!

  9. Brave 0-0published at 1 ball

    And we are under way!

Cassidy McCarthy strikes the pad of Southern Brave opener Lizelle Lee with her first ball, but drifting down the leg side.

If you come flying out the blocks like Southern Brave did, you feel as though you've cracked it. Then you have a couple of bad performances, that can affect your confidence at the important end of the tournament.

Whereas, with Sunrisers Leeds, yes they didn't come completely flying out the blocks but they've found their method and found their style and they look really good.

If I was a betting man, Sunrisers Leeds would be the favourites here.

Two former women's Hundred champions go head-to-head with a place in the final within touching distance.

The first ball is coming your way shortly from a sunny Oval as Southern Brave and Sunrisers Leeds battle for the right to face Trent Rockets in Sunday's final.

With the power of Sunrisers Leeds, if Southern Brave post 125 it's not going to be enough.

So I'd like to see Southern Brave, if they're going to go out, go out swinging.

This is a venue that has favoured the team batting second.

So there is no surprise that Sunrisers Leeds captain Dani Gibson has decided to send Southern Brave out to bat first.
