Luke Littler and Jonny Clayton look intent on taking the race for top spot to the wire.

Both have already secured their place at Finals Night and are guaranteed to finish in the top two.

But who will top the pile at the end of the regular season?

Littler edges the head-to-head record against Clayton 6-4, but Clayton has won three of the five meetings between the players in 2026.

    An intriguing contest awaits.

The pressure is there for everyone.

We spoke about how many positives Luke Humphries might have tonight but you still need to cross the line and he showed a little bit of tension there.

It is an interesting night for Stephen Bunting now because he's still got a chance if he can pick up a night win. That semi-final is tough to call.

Stephen Bunting endured a nightmare Premier League campaign in 2025, although most would fairly argue that his performances warranted far more points than he actually claimed.

But the trend of near misses has continued for the Bullet of late.

The 41-year-old had lost each of his past three quarter-final fixtures, with the previous two - against Gerwyn Price in Aberdeen last week and against Jonny Clayton in Liverpool a week earlier - being last-leg deciders.

But that has at long last changed tonight.

As was the case for Josh Rock earlier tonight, it's pretty much now or never territory for 2024 Masters champion Bunting if he is to keep his already slim top four hopes alive.

He has achieved the first part of his goal tonight at least.

  6. Standings after the quarter-finalspublished at 21:15 BST 7 May

Oh, it's got tasty in the race for the final two play-off spots!

Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen can't add to their tally so Luke Humphries could end the night in fourth and level on points with Price in third.

Gian van Veen has just missed a big opportunity to do likewise, but a night win for Stephen Bunting would leave him just two points off fourth.

Stephen Bunting arrived in Leeds today knowing he needed to be near-on flawless for the remainder of the regular season to stand any chance of reaching Finals Night.

He was a long way from his best in that encounter, but he got the job done to keep his faint hopes of securing a top four finish alive.

It's Luke Humphries up next for the Bullet in a game that will have a significant impact on the hunt for the play-offs.

A slightly unorthodox way of taking out 96 from Gian van Veen there, but my word he needed that.
