You could see that both McNeil and Jean-Philippe Mateta were working so hard. Both of them have been brilliant, and in the 60 minutes have done a fantastic job. Now, it's up to the subs to come on and continue the performance.

    Bournemouth 2-0 AC Milan

Rayan has scored in Bournemouth's opening two Europa League games.

You'd expect him to have some chances to make that three in three against the tired legs of 10-man AC Milan too.

Imagine being a Bournemouth/Como fan 10 years ago and someone says in 10 years time, you'll be handing out a hiding to Milan/Man Utd. Incredible. These stories are what makes this game great and why we never want to have an American-style franchise league.

What a finish. Now everybody knows what Palace were missing. Mateta is back and everything will be okay.

@ Jay at 21.03 Feeling foolish for the knee jerk reaction yet? Show faith and patience - football clubs and teams have ups and downs, good results and bad results. Remember, you're a *supporter*, so support rather than castigate. Well done Palace for the turnaround.

Mateta has to be starting 11 now. JSL hasn’t shown enough this season and having Jean back, you can see and feel his presence.

    Bournemouth 2-0 AC Milan

You definitely wouldn't bet against Bournemouth getting more goals here.

They work a corner short and Justin Kluivert whips a ball into the box - or was it a shot? Either way it goes just wide of the target.

  12. 'Talk about punishing a mistake!'published at 21:18 BST 22 October

    Besiktas 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

Talk about punishing a mistake! Jean-Philippe Mateta reads it, he's first on to it, he keeps his body between the ball and man, and he hits it with so much power.

    Jean-Philippe Mateta (55 mins)

    Turnaround complete!

It is a brilliant strike by Jean-Philippe Mateta as he is onto a ball into the box and slams in a powerful finish at the near post.

Mateta has caused Besiktas problems all night and now he has a goal.

  14. 'Imagine going to get four or five against AC Milan'published at 21:15 BST 22 October

    Bournemouth 2-0 AC Milan

    Robbie Savage
Peterborough manager and former Wales midfielder on TNT Sports

We want to see Bournemouth go and get more goals. Get three, four, make this a night in their history that they'll never forget.

They won't forget it at 2-0 but imagine going to get four or five against AC Milan.

That should be the message at half-time from the manager. Obviously win the game first but can you go and score more goals and be agressive.

  15. goal

GOAL - Besiktas 1-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 21:14 BST 22 October

    Yeremy Pino (51 mins)

The decision is overturned and the goal is given!

The linesman originally flagged for Anan Khalaili being in an offside position when he crossed for Yeremy Pino to score, but after a long VAR check the equaliser is confirmed.

It is no less than Palace deserve, too.

  16. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:13 BST 22 October

    Besiktas 1-0 Crystal Palace

Another goal ruled out for Palace!

Yeremy Pino sweeps in a neat finish but the flag is up for offside in the build-up.

VAR is going to check this, though...

  17. Postpublished at 21:12 BST 22 October

    Bournemouth 2-0 AC Milan

As you may expect against 10-men, Bournemouth have dominated the early proceedings in this second half.

Ben Gannon-Doak burst to the byeline and won a corner, but Marcus Tavernier's set-piece was too deep for everyone.

  18. Postpublished at 21:09 BST 22 October

    Besiktas 1-0 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have started this half like they did the first - attacking and on the front foot. They have half a shout for a penalty waved away.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:07 BST 22 October

There's a double change for the visitors at the break.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and former Brighton full-back Pervis Estupinan are replaced by Adrien Rabiot and Davide Bartesaghi.
