  1. 'You can see why Reading are up there in League One'published at 21:53 GMT

    Peterborough 0-5 Reading

    Darren Fletcher
    TNT Sports commentator

You can see on this performance why Reading are right up there, sixth in League One. It's a very competitive divison.

There are are some good teams in that league, and the way they are popping the ball around, they've been very impressive.

  2. 'Peterborough have been poor'published at 21:49 GMT

    Peterborough 0-5 Reading

    Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading and Posh player on BBC Radio Berkshire

A lot of the Peterborough fans are up out of their seats and leaving the stadium. A lovely attack from Reading, and I don't see why they won't score again. The Reading fans would certanly like more. Peterborough have been poor.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:48 GMT

    Peterborough 0-5 Reading

A late challenge by Peterborough's Liam Kelly and he is cautioned.

We're into the final five minutes. Peterborough would probably want to get off now if they could.

Wish I could be at the Savage household after this game

    Dan, East London

Peterborough away is usually a much tougher assignment for Reading, wasn't expecting to win 3-0, never mind be 3 up at half-time! Shows that maybe Wing did need resting, as a lot of fans have been saying. Really pleased that Savage has scored against his dad's team too!

Charlie should've knee slid in front of his dad

  5. CLOSE!published at 21:42 GMT

    Peterborough 0-5 Reading

This is proving to be Savage viewing for Robbie.

His side have just drawn a decent save from Joel Pereira, who had to be alert to turn a strike from Brandon Khela around the post.

    Pereira gathers the resulting corner.

  6. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 0-5 Readingpublished at 21:38 GMT

    Jamie Reid (76 mins)

"We want five" cry the visiting fans. Well, they've just got their wish.

Like a knife through butter in the heart of the Peterborough defence.

Jamie Reid is played in and slips the ball past Alex Bass with a calm left-footed finish.

He just caressed the ball into the corner. This is set to be an all-time record away win for the Royals in the FA Cup.

  7. 'Game over'published at 21:38 GMT

    Peterborough 0-4 Reading

    Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading and Posh player on BBC Radio Berkshire

It was probably the hardest finish, because he has literally lobbed it over the keeper's hands. And if you didn't believe at 3-0 that it was game over... it is now!

The Reading fans are certainly enjoying it, giving it the "ole, oles".

  8. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 0-4 Readingpublished at 21:34 GMT

    Jamie Reid (72 mins)

    Number four.

No idea where the defending is here. A long free-kick is floated in and, after a deft header, Jamie Reid somehow finds himself completely unmarked inside the box.

The former Stevenage striker keeps his composure really nicely, lifting the ball gently over Alex Bass, and into the back of the net.

    Tie over.

  9. Postpublished at 21:32 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

20 minutes remaining and there has been no sign of an unlikely Peterborough comeback so far.

  10. Postpublished at 21:31 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

Peterborough give the ball away cheaply in midfield and they're queuing up on the left but Charlie Savage's effort is blocked.

  11. Postpublished at 21:29 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

The oles are coming out now from the travelling Reading fans.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:28 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

Brandon Khela is cautioned for fouling Charlie Savage from behind.

    Free-kick Reading.

  13. Postpublished at 21:27 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

Vernon Masara cuts inside for Peterborough but his effort is wild and well over the crossbar.

  14. 'Peterborough had a good spell'published at 21:26 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

    Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading and Posh player on BBC Radio Berkshire

You'd expect Robbie Savage to have had a word with his team at half time. Taking nothing away from Reading who played the opening 45 minutes really well, but it was men against boys in the first half.

He'd have told them to compete better, pass the ball better, and Peterborough had a good spell after the break.

  15. CLOSE!published at 21:23 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

A flowing move from right to left and Reading have a good chance to make it 4-0.

The opening goalscorer, Daniel Kyerewaa, leans back on this occasion though and finds the stands rather than the top corner.

That really would have been it, still with half an hour to go.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:21 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

Reading's half-time sub Ashqar Ahmed is booked for a pull back.

  17. Postpublished at 21:20 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

It's a great delivery from the left but when the ball is knocked down, too much indecision from two Peterborough players on the edge of the box means the chance to get a goal back quickly goes.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:18 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

Peterborough have the opportunity to put the ball in the box from a free-kick but Reading deal with the situation.

Changes for both sides now. Matthew Garbett is off and on comes Danny Ormerod for the hosts.

Reading make two subs as well. Jack Marriott and Kyreece Lisbie are withdrawn, on come Jamie Reid and Randell Williams.

  19. CLOSE!published at 21:13 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

Reading break forward and Charlie Savage looks to lob Alex Bass but Bass does well to tip the ball over the bar for a corner.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:11 GMT

    Peterborough 0-3 Reading

A plethora of substitutions to tell you about as Robbie Savage reverts back to a back four.

James Dornelly, Liam Kelly and Vernon Masara are all on in place of Lucca Mendonca, Harry Ashfield and Ethan Williams. Robbie Savage was clearly unhappy with his side's efforts in the first 45 minutes.

Reading have made a change at the break too. Ashqar Ahmed is on for Udoka Godwin-Malife who picked up a knock following a foul from Williams in the first period.
