According to several media outlets, including The Telegraph and The Athletic, Ollie Watkins has been the subject of three offers from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

It is claimed Villa turned down Al-Hilal's latest offer of around £40 million for the 30-year-old England international on Tuesday night, but the Europa League winners "are aware that there could be another improved bid".

Watkins, who joined Villa from Brentford in 2020, has yet to feature in pre-season for Unai Emery's side after being granted an extended period of leave following his involvement in the World Cup.

Watkins scored 21 goals in 55 appearances across all competitions for Villa last season.

Since qualifying for the Champions League in May, Villa have sold Morgan Rogers, Youri Tielemans and Lucas Digne.
