England 'lacked confidence' - Eddie Jones

Japan head coach Eddie Jones has told the Scrum V podcast that his antics at press conferences when he was in charge of England were often planned.

Jones, who led England to the 2019 World Cup final, says the team lacked confidence and that he felt he needed to be a 'battering ram' for them at times.

Wales host Jones' Japan in the Nations Championship on Saturday, 7 November.
