  1. Gauff and coach exchanging 'one or two words'published at 16:46 BST 1 July

I love that from Coco Gauff!

She realised that her double fault balls were too far to the left and dropping down too soon, but she still committed to the next serve.

Her coach is telling her to go after her serve and keep her head up. He definitely feels like he needs to give Gauff some cues on what she needs to go to. They are having one or two words.

Coco Gauff finds herself in a similar position going from a 30-0 lead to 30-30.

There's a huge roar from the American as she switches up the pace of her serve to lead and then she gets the hold.

It remains on serve in the deciding set.

It's not pretty but Solana Sierra won't mind. Another obstacle overcome and another step closer to round three.

  4. 'A crazy match-up for the second round'published at 16:42 BST 1 July

    *Krejcikova 0-0 Andreeva

    Eugenie Bouchard
Former Canadian tennis player on BBC Two

Mirra Andreeva has a really tough draw to try to get this Wimbledon title - and I do think it is going to be really hard just because of that mental aspect.

Everyone is paying attention to her, she has all of these eyes on her, and she will want to do well herself as well. But it is so hard playing the next Grand Slam when you did really well at the previous one because this entire world that you didn't know existed is thrust upon you.

Barbora Krejcikova won here just two years ago. This is a crazy match-up for the second round. She is so good at the net and she is so good with her variety, I think it's going to be a tough match.

  8. 'Andreeva is a real threat'published at 16:39 BST 1 July

    Krejcikova v Andreeva

    Anne Keothavong
Former British number one on BBC Two

Mirra Andreeva battled herself in her opening game against Magda Linette. I think it was all about the weight of expectation she put on herself because coming into this tournament as a Grand Slam champion was huge for her.

She managed to battle her demons, find a way and compete well. She is a real threat at Wimbledon this year.

Eighth seed Daniil Medvedev recovered well from losing the first set to Spaniard Daniel Merida, taking the next three to book his place in the third round.

Meanwhile, on court three, Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca is into a two-set lead against Dutchman Jesper de Jong.

Up next on Centre Court is an eye-catching tie between 2024 Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova and reigning French Open champion Mirra Andreeva.

Krejcikova has not won a title since her triumph at Roland Garros just over two years ago but the Czech is still ranked 38th in the world and could cause problems for Russian fifth seed Andreeva.

I think we are starting to see quite a lot more of Jannik Sinner's personality this year, rather than just the player. I think that is important in tennis, and the crowd really seems to be warming to him.

Solana Sierra has stood up well in these situations and delivers again.

    Take a bow Solana Sierra.

Sierra is up against it after Coco Gauff strides to the net and slams over a forehand but the Argentinean adjusts her feet and nestles a backhand on to the paint in the far corner. Undoubtedly the shot of the match.

Sierra is closing in on the hold at 40-30 but a slip on the baseline allows Gauff to get to deuce.

It's tough to pick a winner after a contrasting opening couple of sets but one thing that's certain is we're going the distance.

Coco Gauff is on serve first and seizes the opportunity to set the tone. A hold to 15 does the job.

  19. 'A couple of things to improve, but I'm very happy'published at 16:22 BST 1 July

    Sinner 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-2) 6-4 Borges

World number one Jannik Sinner, speaking on Centre Court after beating Portugal's Nuno Borges in straight sets: "I'm happy. Of course the second set was very tough. It felt like we were both serving very well in the first couple of sets so there weren't a lot of exchanges.

"But overall, in these matches where you don't have a lot of control, I'm very happy to win, especially here on this surface.

"I have two wins under my belt now and of course we will see what is to come, but I'm very happy about this result. There are obviously a couple of things to improve, but I'm very happy. Thank you for coming, the support has been amazing."

On whether he feels the rust is wearing off on the grass now: "I mean, we will have to wait and see. In the first match especially, I felt a lack of match time. I also felt like that today in a couple of moments. I need to get back to the rhythm, but if you look at the scoreboard it was very close and matches like these help me a lot. Of course we aim to improve and get a little bit better.

"Tomorrow is a day off and yesterday I didn't do a lot because the first match was five sets and very long, but I'm looking forward to what's coming."

Another tough test for Jannik Sinner, but he patiently finds a way through to reach the third round. I'm sure that will be a relief after his surprise Roland Garros exit a month ago.

Nuno Borges gave it his best go and he gets a warm round of applause as he makes his way off court.
