A rare moment of pressure on Stefanos Tsitsipas' serve as a couple of unforced errors leave the game poised at 30-all.

Tsitsipas responds with an ace but then shanks a forehand off a deep return.

This would be a huge moment for a break if Novak Djokovic can pull it off.

I think that was more of a trip than a dive!

Part of being a good athlete is actually falling in the correct way when you notice you might twist your ankle. It is better to go down with it rather than taking the strain with that full ankle turn.

As long as he keeps hitting aces, he doesn't have to move around the court which is a bonus!

    *Tsitsipas 3-6 4-4 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic stretches to his right to ping a backhand volley winner cross-court but goes over on his right ankle in his follow through.

He gets back to his feet a little gingerly but then unfurls back-to-back aces to hold to love.

Novak Djokovic had a late-night finish on Monday. He had to play out four tough sets here and some of the angles his body was defining almost defy belief.

He is just stretching out after a couple of his serves now. Everybody is wondering about his physicality levels of course.

    *Tsitsipas 3-6 3-3 Djokovic

Lovely flat striking from Stefanos Tsitsipas as he engages Novak Djokovic in a lengthy baseline exchange. Eventually he puts a bit of extra welly behind one of his forehands and catches Djokovic on his heels. 0-15.

Djokovic turns up the style with a backhand volley winner for 30-15 before sealing the hold with a well-executed backhand lob.

There's a little bit of stretching from the Serb in between games. Something to keep an eye on.

If Stefanos Tsitsipas is going to come back and win this match, he needs to keep these high-quality serves coming.

He hasn't lost a point on his first serve in this second set - and I think he is going to have to continue keeping that number above probably 90% if he is going to take even a set of Novak Djokovic.

It does feel like the crowd is waiting to get into this. I think Stefanos Tsitsipas has to give them some jeopardy here. He needs to give them a reason to believe that he can get into this match.

He has been a little bit better for me in this second set. His intensity is increasing, but I still don't think he is anywhere near his best as yet.

Neither player has dropped a point in the second set when they've landed their first serve.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, whose first-serve percentage is up at 73% in this set, breezes through a hold to love.

    Tie-break anyone?

    *Tsitsipas 3-6 2-2 Djokovic

Stefanos Tsitsipas is dragged beyond the tramlines by a wide serve and although he gets his forehand back into the court, he doesn't even bother charging across the baseline to try and recover Novak Djokovic's winner.

A comfortable hold for the seven-time champion. The second set remains on serve.

The third seed saved break point at 2-2 in the third set before sealing his own break to lead 6-5 and then serving out for victory.

Auger-Aliassime is yet to drop a set and will face American qualifier Michael Zheng, who beat Briton Cameron Norrie, in the third round.

You know you’re doing well when 24-time major winner Novak Djokovic takes the time to applaud you.

That stunning round-the-net-post forehand from Stefanos Tsitsipas moments ago certainly got the love it deserved from the crowd here too.

Novak Djokovic said his hard-earned opening win over Yu Wibing didn’t feel like a first-round match. Well, this so far classy contest feels like it belongs at least a stage or two deeper in the tournament.

Novak Djokovic's forehand earlier in the match was one of the best so far in this tournament, but then that forehand from Stefanos Tsitsipas was at such an angle!

I think it even clipped the net post. It just seemed to kiss it. Novak Djokovic might've had a look at it had it not hit the net post and altered away from him!

    *Tsitsipas 3-6 1-1 Djokovic

Sam Querrey wanted Stefanos Tsitsipas to come into the net (@20:25) and the former world number three does exactly that on the opening point of Novak Djokovic's service game, coming on the approach for a forehand winner.

Even better is his next forehand offering, bending the ball around the net post and placing it just inside the tramline. Djokovic applauds. 0-30.

Somewhat inevitably, Djokovic smothers any hope of a break point with a quartet of big serves, including back-to-back aces to finish it off.

Classic set-up from Stefanos Tsitsipas. Wide serve followed by a forehand into the opposite corner. 30-15.

Frustratingly, it's immediately followed by a loose forehand for 30-all but he closes out the hold.

The metric that really stands out for me from that first set is on the side of Stefanos Tsitsipas. He only won 33% of his second serve points. He is going to need that number to be above 50% if he is going to win this match this evening.

Novak Djokovic also seems to be the only one coming into the net at the minute, Tsitsipas never even approached the net once in that opening set.
