The discussions between the contestants are continuing and theories are building.

James B and Romesh go back and forth over the murder in plain sight of Ross Kemp.

Who is smart enough, clever enough? James B says Maya. But he also says Kenny has him "wrapped around his little finger".

Could it be, that he's, finally..... onto something?!?!

  2. I'm not sure it was a massive shock...published at 20:17 GMT 30 October

The faithfuls seem genuinely gutted - especially James and Bash - and they're speaking for the nation.

But as we've said, I'm not sure it was a massive shock.

Now, can Maya really convince the group that she didn't murder Michael?

  3. 'We are a rudderless ship'published at 20:16 GMT 30 October

    Imogen James
    Poundland Poirot

What do the contestant's think of Michael's murder?

"We are a rudderless ship," says James Blunt, describing him as a "primary target".

"That is mad," says Kenny - we see you.

And Bash says: "Oh my gosh. I'm really sad that Michael's gone, but it's so wild that I've made it this far."

It’s a very sad loss, says James Blunt, earnestly, after Michael’s murder.

The singer looks as shocked as everyone else that he’s still in the game.

It does feel somewhat like he’s blundered his way to this point, but hey.

He’s here and that’s what matters.

Michael Sheen (aka self-described "vengeful daddy") is gone.

The traitors need to keep Blunty under reins here now.

    They had to do it.

Yes to that. Finally the right decision!

  7. 'This is the only hope for survival' - probably, but that was a gamblepublished at 20:13 GMT 30 October

    Imogen James
    Poundland Poirot

    That felt... obvious RIGHT?

It feels like the only way they can save Maya now, as Michael Sheen was hunting her down ferociously.

Opening the letter, in a stunningly green suit, Sheen says he isn't surprised, but he is "incredibly disappointed".

As Maya says, "this is the only hope for survival". It's a gamble, will it work?

    Maya’s outfit at breakfast!

It looks a bit like an air conditioning extract…. But I’m into it. Maya Jama can pull anything off.

I think Michael’s for the chop. It would be crazy if they don’t murder him.

That was the most chaotic turret meeting I’ve ever seen.

Ah, another beautiful montage of Scotland. Perhaps the last bit of calm for the next hour and twenty minutes...

Into the breakfast room we go. Romesh is talking to himself as he chows down on a pastry - maybe a sign of just how tense this show has become.

Surely they have to kill Michael?

Yes, he’s onto the traitors. But equally there is NO chance Maya can win if he’s still in the game.

I wonder if Michael Sheen is coming to breakfast..?

The traitors have been playing it so safe so actually killing Michael would be so out there for them.

  16. Maya is really shakenpublished at 20:06 GMT 30 October

    Noor Nanji

Into the turret. And this is the first time we've really seen Maya shaken.

"We have to think tactical," she tells Kenny.

    Bit late for that...

Episode one: The usual steam train journey to the castle was swapped for a gloomy church, as this autumn's ensemble voted on who they deemed to be most trustworthy before Claudia selected Maya Jama and Richard E Grant as traitors - in an unexpected twist, Richard then admitted he had been chosen.

Episode two: Amol Rajan became the first to depart after his pleas to become a traitor were rejected by Maya, who opted instead to have James Acaster join their ranks.

Episode three: Richard’s exit was confirmed after his bizarre choice to tell everyone else he was a traitor ended exactly as anticipated, he was banished at the first round table.

Episode four: The challenge took centre stage before actor Julie Hesmondhalgh's banishment, as Miranda Hart's haunted cabin experience saw her vomiting at the stomach-churning smells.

Episode five: Ross Kemp was angry as the heat turned on him after Rob Beckett was murdered face-to-face, and it was the end of the road for mathematician Hannah Fry after her fellow traitors held up her name at the round table.

Episode six: While Leigh-Anne Pinnock taught Miranda a dance move from her days in Little Mix, in the room next door James A and Maya attempted to murder in plain sight by forcing a faithful to yawn.

Episode seven: The following morning it was revealed Ross had fallen victim to the yawn inflicted murder, and faithful Jerry Hall followed him out of the castle after her fellow players banished her for... having too many unhinged theories?

Episode eight: The faithful showed themselves to be completely clueless when they selected all three traitors as their most trustworthy players, granting them a special power in return, which was Kenny getting an extra round table vote.

Players were then left locked in a stand-off at the round table as votes for a banishment couldn't be separated between Sharon Rooney and Joanne McNally.

Episode nine: Show history was made when reluctant traitor James A gave in to his faithful nature and confessed to being a traitor at the first sign of pressure at the round table. Maya also came under pressure as the faithful decided to hone in on the quiet ones.
