Glasgow City put 10 goals past a stunned Spartans side to keep pressure on the teams at the top of the table.

Emily Gray opened the scoring for the visitors and Emily Whelan added a second five minutes later when she turned in Lisa Forrest's cross.

Forrest set up Kelly Brady for City's third with just 25 minutes on the clock at Ainslie Park and Whelan scored Leanne Ross' side's fourth before the break.

Emily Cadell pulled one back for Spartans early on in the second half but City went on to put another six past Jack Beesley's side thanks to goals from Forrest, Sofia Maatta, Yuuka Kurosaki and Abi Harrison's double as well as a second for Gray.
