Jess Ramsay scored Hibs' second goal against Aberdeen

Hibernian returned to winning ways with a thrilling 5-2 victory over Aberdeen at Meadowbank.

The Dons' wait for their first win of the season continues after picking up their first point of the campaign in midweek.

Jas McQuade opened the scoring for Hibs after just five minutes with an impressive left-footed volley.

But Aberdeen levelled almost immediately when Soraya Walsh finished off a well-worked team goal.

Walsh cancelled out Jess Ramsay's second to level the game shortly before the break but Hibs edged back in front when Kyah Simon scored a third with just minutes of the half left to play.

Libby Smith added a fourth for the hosts in the second half with a lovely finish from outside the box and scored her second, and Hibs' fifth, just 10 minutes later.
