It was an amazing start from Max Verstappen but an even better one from Lewis Hamilton to leapfrog past his team-mate. They went wheel to wheel, Hamilton got alongside Verstappen, they did make contact, doesn't look like there is major damage, they both live to fight another day. Leclerc had that huge lock-up, he will be suffering with that vibration in the tyre now.

Kimi Antonelli needs to brave to pass Charles Leclerc. The pair are battling each other and it's the champion in waiting who comes out on top! Antonelli is on the podium, while Leclerc just about keeps Lando Norris at bay.
Some drivers are back out on track in Mexico City and are now unlapping themselves before for a standing start.
Max Verstappen is at the front, Charles Leclerc is alongside him on the front row and Lewis Hamilton is now lining up in third place, with championship leader Kimi Antonelli fourth.

Part of the reason it is 15 minutes, because everything kind of looks ready doesn't it? But you cannot just go now, there is a whole set of procedures that you have to go through, has to be very strictly adhered to, it is about getting the cars both into the right windows, right positions in the queue and then getting them out on the race track and going through a grid procedure.
No further investigation by the stewards for Pierre Gasly leaving the pit exit on a red light, so the Alpine man can get back in the car and concentrate on his restart.
If you've got work in the morning, hopefully we won't have anymore stoppages.

One of the biggest dangers with racing cars is if you're angry. It is one of the things that you have to really keep out of the frame because you do ridiculous things if you are not careful.

There's been a change to the order - Lewis Hamilton will now start third on the restart grid, with championship leader Kimi Antonelli lining up in fourth place.
The revised order is because race control have gone back a lap as the one before the red flag wasn't completed.
The grid is packed with team members now as everyone is scrambling to get ready to restart this grand prix.
Max Verstappen will lead us off followed Charles Leclerc, Kimi Antonelli, Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris.
George Russell will line up sixth ahead of the Racing Bulls of Arvid Lindblad, with Oscar Piastri in eighth, Franco Colapinto in ninth and Nico Hilkenberg, who doesn't want to finish 11th again, sitting in 10th spot.
They have issued a statement at Cadillac, saying Valtteri has been taken to the medical centre for further medical assessments as a precaution, following an incident on Lap 46. He's got out of the car unaided and was responsive on the radio.

It has been there [tension between the two Ferraris], undeclared. There is clearly a battle going on for influence within the team, between whatever it is, camps, certainly between the drivers. They have had incidents and they have had discussions, Lewis said we don't have a rule about how we engage and it seems to me that it was a feisty move by Charles and he was clear that he was not going to give ground. If it meant that both cars went out, then he was going to take that risk.
Charles Leclerc is having a big chug in the Ferrari garage, probably watching the highlights that keep showing him running across the grass during his standoff with team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
What will Kimi Antonelli be thinking now? The title is right there, but this red-flag stoppage is adding some unnecessary tension to his impeding championship celebrations.
As we wait for the repairs to be completed, Max Verstappen is leading, Charles Leclerc is second and Kimi Antonelli, who pitted just before the crash for Valtteri Bottas, is fourth.
Lewis Hamilton is in fourth spot but the seven-time world champion has been unimpressed with how his Mexico City Grand Prix has panned out.
