Women's balance beam final
Oh no!
Alia Leat is off the beam after a slip. She went for the high difficulty and, sadly, it doesn't pay off.
The rest of the routine is excellent but the Englishwoman's medal chances are almost certainly over.
The scores are in... it's a 12.866 for Leat. Bronze medal position for now. We'll see how long she can stay there.
Here's how the medal table is looking. Australia still well out in front but England have closed the gap a little today...
Women's balance beam final
The second final of the afternoon is under way - and it's the women's balance beam.
Two gymnasts have gone so far with Singapore's Amanda Yap currently leading the way with a score of 13.233.
Canada's Elsabeth Black is next up and there is a slight stumble midway through. She recovers well but that proves costly as she posts a score of 12.966 to move into the silver medal position.
Five athletes still to go and next up is England's Alia Leat...

Northern Ireland's Ewan McAteer finished seventh in the men's vault final and said he was "disappointed" that he was unable to win a medal but that he ultimately did not perform well enough to get on the podium.
It's been tough for Team NI in the Arena, with Eamon Montgomery failing to make the floor final and Olympic champion Rhys McClenaghan unable to medal in the pommel horse final.

The Welsh crowd is already in fine voice here at the Glasgow International Arena in support of Team Wales’ gymnasts today.
And also showing their support are Team Wales captain Olivia Breen and Chef de Mission Gethin Jones.
Ruby Evans is competing soon on the beam, before the floor exercise.
Elliott Vernon and Alexander Niscoveanu are also competing here in the Arena today.
Gymnastics - men's vault final
Image source, Getty ImagesThe first of five gymnastics finals this afternoon has just finished and having won gold in the men's floor yesterday, England gymnast Luke Whitehouse has taken silver in the vault.
It is the 24-year-old from Halifax's third medal of the Games overall, having also earned silver in the men's team event.
Whitehouse was last to go and his two vaults earned him a score of 13.749.
However, it was not quite enough to overhaul Felix Dolci of Canada, who scored 13.766. Bronze went to Neofytos Kyriakou of Cyprus.

We've got a busy afternoon of finals in the gymnastic before a huge evening of swimming and athletics, including a tantalising headline act of both the men's and women's 100m finals.
So much to look forward to and the action is already well under way so let's get to it...
