England have got to get a full over at Haris Rauf.

This is getting so tight now. 27 needed and 36 balls remain.

Shadab Khan is back on strike...

  5. Pak 215-9published at 44 overs

    27 needed off 36 balls

Shadab Khan faces three dot balls from Sam Curran then clubs a four through square.

That's a career-best score in ODIs, moving to 90 and bettering an 86 he made against the West Indies in June 2022.

This is when you really want some pace. Someone like Jofra Archer makes life intolerable for the number 11. And that is what England are lacking in this game.

Shadab Khan sends Sam Curran flying over fine leg for six!

  13. How's stat?!published at 15:26 GMT 25 October

England's quicks have targeted Shadab with the short ball with no success thus far, only two of the pace deliveries they've bowled so far have gone on to hit the stumps.

Not to sound controversial, but there's no way the game should wait two minutes for the bowling team to decide field placings, very unsporting.

Probably a few scars from the other day when England couldn't get control of the game.

They are now taking their time and having a chat.

I like this from England. Yes, it has taken a while, but it is so important for England to win this game, and it is so important that they get their plans right.

And once again, Shadab Khan gives Haris Rauf two balls to face.

After a bit of a wait for no reason in particular, we resume with Joe Root under a helmet at silly mid-off.

Rauf dead-bats his two deliveries - that's Liam Dawson finished with figures of 2-30.
