There is a good length from Razaullah. He has had a great start to his international career. He is cramping Joe Root and Ben Duckett for room.

  2. Eng 6-1published at 2 overs

On Sky, Nasser Hussain has compared Razaullah to Pakistan bowling coach Shaun Tait. There's a bit of sling, but I see more Waqar Younis myself.

Razaullah finishes with a couple of dots.

The game against Sri Lanka was so disheartening. Hopefully, England can beat Pakistan. Let's face it, they must beat them.

So England are sticking with Sam Curran? Batting was poor in the first game and bowling abysmal in the second. Not sure what on earth the role is meant to be. Surely we have other options to try?

  4. Eng 6-1published at 1.2 overs

Now then, Razaullah. You may recall from England's Test against Pakistan at Edgbaston this summer he's quite the showman.

He starts with a dot before Ben Duckett rather streakily gets one away behind point for a single.

Tom Banton has driven that tamely to cover. England lose an early wicket. Banton has been in such good form... A lunging sort of a drive there at Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Joe Root comes to the crease and sees off a dot, worked to mid-wicket, to finish the over.

Tom Banton pushes at the ball, and it was such a simple catch for extra cover. For the first time, he has got to go early.

Chipped to cover! Not the start England wanted.

The previous delivery Shaheen Afridi had got one to jag across Tom Banton and the England opener gave him a nod of respect.

However, his strokeplay is a little more callous to one pitched a little bit further up and he opts to take the drive but plinks it straight to Arafat Minhas.

    Shaheen has 150 ODI wickets

Character wise this is a big game. Here in Lahore it is going to be packed out, flat pitch and England are a bit in the doldrums. It is a big game to make your debut for Henry Crocombe.

  10. Eng 4-0published at 0.2 overs

Bit of early swing for Shaheen Afridi but he is a little straight to Tom Banton who leans into a smart on drive for four.

    England up and running.

The wicket has got quite a lot of grass on it. I said to Brendon McCullum it is quite furry, but he said: 'It is rock hard.' He is expecting it to play well.

Pakistan's players, wearing pink today rather than green as part of a campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer, jog out to the middle.

Tom Banton and Ben Duckett follow shortly after.

Harry Brook confirms one change to England's XI from the last match against Sri Lanka as Josh Tongue drops out and Henry Crocombe comes into make his ODI debut.

Pakistan make two changes as Razaullah (remember him?) makes his debut while Shadab Khan is recalled.

Faheem Ashraf and Naseem Shah, who suffered a dislocated finger during the warm up, are the men to make way.

The toss took place a few moments ago. England captain Harry Brook called heads but it came down a tail.

Pakistan skipper Shaheen Afridi fancies a chase so decides to ask England to bat first.

    Played two, lost two.

Not exactly the start to their nomadic winter that England coach Brendon McCullum and captain Harry Brook would have liked after defeats to Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Their hopes of making the tri-series final are hanging by a thread as the action switches from Rawalpindi to Lahore.
