Match-winning knock from Will Jacks incoming today. You heard it from me first.

  2. Eng 206-7published at 37 overs

    Target 303

There have been some really frustrating dismissals today.

Harry Brook got a beauty and Joe Root got one that kept low, but other than that, England have gifted their wickets away.

It's a soft dismissal from Jamie Overton.

England are in a lot of trouble. Pakistan were behind this score but they had a great end to their innings. England are wilting here.

Another soft dismissal and Pakistan continue to chip away.

Will Jacks is playing nicely, and struck the first ball of the over for four, but Jamie Overton gets carried away and tries to whack the spinner down the ground.

Instead, he plinks it straight to long-on, who barely has to move.

  5. Eng 200-6published at 36 overs

Shaheen Shah Afridi backs up his fellow seamers, just three conceded from his first over back into the attack.

  6. Eng 197-6published at 35 overs

Jamie Overton joins Will Jacks in the middle.

England need 106 off 15 overs. It's still doable.

Huge, huge wicket. I felt as thought those two had to bat to 40 and keep England in the game.

I'm not saying Jamie Overton can't do that. There's a lot of time left in this game and a lot of runs to score.

    That could be the game.

The replay shows the ball would've hit leg stump and Jordan Cox looked like he knew he was in trouble. It was a smart bit of bowling, a little quicker, and snuck through a huge gap between bat and pad.

That's a game changing moment. Is there a chance it's sliding?

  10. England reviewpublished at 34.5 overs

    Now then.

Jordan Cox is given lbw, and Arafat is absolutely convinced. Cox looks to the sky in frustration after a rather belated call for the review.

And Jordan Cox joins the party!

Too short from spinner Minhas Arafat and it's slammed over mid-wicket for six.

To those who are slamming Sam Curran. Cast your mind back to when we played India over the summer... I believe he was our highest wicket-taker in both the ODIs and T20s series. Terrible indeed!

    David, Basingstoke

I think Sam Curran balances both the T20 and ODI team very well. Is good with both bat and ball.

    Jamie, Woking

All those moaning about Sam, at least hes won matches. What has the captain done? Never a match winning innings and out cheapily again today.

    James, London

Haris Rauf gets a little bit carried away with the short ball, though. Will Jacks helps it on its way for a welcome six, exactly the shot that Sam Curran should've played to his wicket ball.

Hitting the pitch hard is working for the Pakistan seamers - they've taken three wickets for 36 runs when bowling short but none on a full or good length.

It would be careless to lose a game from 91-0 for England. The pitch is not to blame but careless shots are.

  16. Eng 180-5published at 33 overs

    Target 303

This has been a very good spell for Pakistan's seamers, as Naseem Shah has started to get a bit of reverse swing.

Cox and Jacks can only rotate singles off the over as the run-rate continues to creep up.

  17. Eng 177-5published at 32 overs

Cracking over from Haris Rauf. Just a single and the wicket of Curran off it.

Pakistan have given themselves a good chance of winning this game by hunting wickets. I think they are slight favourites now but it just needs one partnership from England to drag the game their way.

Yep, everyone's back in their fielding positions as soon as the first replay is shown. It was too high and missing leg stump but good signs for Haris Rauf there, beating Jacks for pace.

  20. Pakistan reviewpublished at 31.4 overs

    Two in two?!

Will Jacks is struck on the pad first ball after missing a pull shot. It looks like an optimistic review from Pakistan, however.
