It's the forehand and the footwork that's mesmerising for Comesana - he's trying to find the Cobolli backhand but unable to. There's a bit more liveliness in the legs of the Italian.

The pair exchange a dozen or more hefty blows from the baseline before Frodin shanks one wide.

Now it's Francisco Comesana's turn to feel the pressure as he finds himself at 30-all on serve.

Flavio Cobolli attempts to lob the Argentine, but there's not enough height on the ball and Comesana leaps into the air and slams dunks it into the open court.

The fifth seed forces deuce before finding the fence, but he takes us back with the softest of touches on the volley to just lift the ball over the net. The crowd loved that one.

Back and forth we go, with each player cupping their ears and trying to steal the attention of the crowd. Deuce.

  20. Rybakina holds to lovepublished at 20:04 BST 1 September

    Rybakina 2-1 Frodin*

Elena Rybakina's serve is such a weapon. She's hit more than 350 aces this season - no one else on the WTA Tour has passed 300 - and adds another to her account for 15-0.

The one time Thea Frodin gets a decent return into court and manages to extend the rally, she's worn down by Rybakina's thumping power and depth.
