Jersey Airport said three flights were diverted because of unauthorised drones

Flights were diverted and cancelled after drones entered airspace near an airport.

Jersey Airport said three flights were diverted back to the UK because of "unauthorised drone activity" in the airport's airspace on Friday evening.

Only one scheduled flight was able to land in the island at 23:45 GMT, it added.

Jersey Police has been approached for comment.
