Investigation after fire at industrial estate

A fire investigation is currently under way after a fire at an industrial estate in Langley Mill.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the site in Hall Road at about 08:25 GMT on Thursday, where a fire involving an on-site caravan had also damaged nearby industrial units.

Crews from Alfreton, Heanor and Ilkeston attended the scene, along with firefighters from Stockhill station in Nottinghamshire, and left at 10:36.

Anyone who can see or smell smoke has been advised to keep their windows and doors closed, and people are asked to avoid the area where possible.
