A further arrest has been made after a man was fatally injured in what police have described as a "targeted attack" in Leeds.

Raheim Jackson, 38, known as Reema, was assaulted by a group of men armed with weapons on Hedley Chase, New Wortley, on 24 October, according to West Yorkshire Police.

Officers said a 28-year-old man was arrested in Nottingham on Thursday on suspicion of Jackson's murder and remained in police custody.

The force previously confirmed Michael Gyedu, 26, of Rathmell Road, Leeds, had been charged with Jackson's murder after being arrested in London on 30 October. Two other men - one 26, the other 39 - had also since been arrested on the same charge, a spokesperson said.

The 26-year-old had since been released under investigation, while the 39-year-old had been bailed pending further inquiries, they confirmed.

Investigations by West Yorkshire Police's Homicide and Major Inquiry Team into Jackson's death remained ongoing, the force spokesperson added.
