Main Douglas to Peel road to close for tree works
PAPart of the main road between Douglas and Peel will be closed on Sunday while tree works take place.
The A1 Peel Road will shut between Braddan Church and the Rural Industries estate at Union Mills from 08:00 to 17:00 GMT on 1 November.
Drivers will be diverted via Saddle Road, Vicarage Road and the Isle of Man Business Park.
The closure is due to tree surgery work being done on behalf of a private landowner.
Westbound traffic will be sent from Braddan Bridge past Kirk Braddan to Vicarage Road, through the Isle of Man Business Park to the Braaid roundabout, then north to rejoin the A1 at Glen Vine.
Eastbound drivers will be diverted the opposite way from Glen Vine.
