In a statement, Det Sgt Lyndsey Blackaby said: "Our thoughts remain with Esme's family and loved ones, who have suffered a devastating loss as a result of this collision.
"Brian Mclaren made the reckless decision to get behind the wheel despite being disqualified from driving and over the prescribed alcohol limit.
"His actions that evening had tragic consequences and resulted in the death of a young woman.
"This case serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences that can result from dangerous and irresponsible driving."
LILAH PARSONS/BBCA 24-year-old man and 33-year-old woman have both been released without any further action.
