Woman dresses up as dinosaur for 30-day challenge

Tiny But Mighty Two women are pictured wearing inflatable costumes. One is dressed in a green T-Rex costume and the other is in a white and blue unicorn costume. There is another woman standing in the middle of them and she is wearing normal clothing - a black puffer coat and black trousers. She is holding a bottle of prosecco. A woman has walked a mile a day for 30 days in a green inflatable dinosaur suit to give back to the people who supported her when she was homeless.

When 27-year-old Aimee and her seven-month-old son, from Swindon in Wiltshire, became homeless in 2025 she vlogged about their experience on TikTok, gaining "lots of followers" and plenty of support as a result.

Aimee then decided to "give back to the community" by taking on the walking challenge in order to raise £1,600 for Swindon neonatal charity Tiny But Mighty.

"I was super nervous going out in the costume but once I had it on I was absolutely fine," she said. "We had lots of beepers and so many people cheering us on - it was very emotional."

Aimee said she ended up living in temporary accommodation after becoming homeless.

But after vlogging about her day-to-day experiences on TikTok and getting lots of "great support and love from everyone", she was able to "turn a bad situation into a good one".

She said: "If it wasn't for everyone who supported and followed my journey - me and my little boy wouldn't be where we are now.

"[But] so many people reached out and really wanted to help and I said, 'I'll let people help and then, whenever I can, I'll give it back to the people' which is exactly what I did."

Why one woman is walking a mile a day for 30 days in an inflatable dinosaur outfit

At the beginning of October, she began the month-long challenge with her son in his pushchair.

Aimee, who said her dinosaur was called "Rory", was also joined by friend Maria who dressed as a unicorn nicknamed "Sparkles".

Aimee said: "To begin with [my son] was a bit on the unsure side but I popped it on at home and we ran up and down the flat with me wearing it.

"He was giggling his little head off and yesterday he didn't bat an eyelid."

She said some people thought she was "mad" but that passing schoolchildren and families said they loved her "amazing" dinosaur suit.

"We had lots of beepers and a fair few donations," she said.

Chloe Kirwan, who founded the charity, said she had been "blown away" by Aimee's fundraiser.

"We're a tiny, not-for-profit charity in Swindon and when I asked Aimee for a bit of social media support, I wasn't expecting this," she said.

"She's raised awareness of the charity not only in Swindon but across the country.

"We couldn't have done it without her."
