A mother has paid tribute to her "beautiful boy", who died when his car hit a wall.

Lancashire Police said Jack Jones died in a crash in Crown Point Road, Burnley, on 13 October, when his grey Skoda Octavia estate hit a dry-stone wall at about 19:00 BST.

The 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a tribute his mother said he was a "loving, kind and fabulously funny man" who "will always be loved" by his brothers and girlfriend.

She added that "losing a child is every parent's nightmare", adding she would always be "extremely proud to be your mum".

Police have appealed for information over the crash investigation.
