A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a property in Margate.

Police were called to Millmead Road on Thursday at about 15:00 GMT, following concern for someone in the property, and found the body of a man in his 50s.

A 40-year-old woman has been arrested and remains in custody, a Kent Police spokesperson said. The man who died has not yet been named.

Officers were still at the scene on Friday as investigations continued to establish the circumstances surrounding the man's death. Anyone with information is asked to contact the force.
