  1. 300 up for Yorkshirepublished at 15:33 BST 22 August

    Hants v Yorkshire 301-9 - lead by 277

It's been a brilliant effort from Yorkshire to get up to 300 today.

Ben Coad fires into deep cover point and races back for a second so their lead is now 277.

They started the day 135-5. A great showing from their lower order in this second innings.

    Thomas c Verreynne b Stone 0 (Surrey 10-2 v Notts, target 329)

    Olly Stone goes bang bang!

Number eight in the match and a similar ball to the one which Dom Sibley could do little about a little earlier.

This time Adam Thomas is turned around, nicks off and is caught behind. Stone wheels away again.

  3. 100 partnership for Essexpublished at 15:30 BST 22 August

    Somerset v Essex 229-3 - trail by 80

Excellent batting by Charlie Allison, who has loads of time to cut Jake Ball to backward point for four.

It takes him to 58 not out and brings up a century stand with Matt Critchley from 225 balls.

Jack Leach will continue from the other end - what can he do with a new ball?

  4. new ball

New ball at Tauntonpublished at 15:28 BST 22 August

    Somerset v Essex 225-3 - trail by 86

Somerset take the new ball as Jake Ball returns to the attack.

His first delivery is nudged away for a single by Matt Critchley, who is 38 not out.

    Bancroft lbw b Swanepol 37 (Glos 77-2 v Worcs - trail by 40)

Oh, this feels like a big wicket.

Beyers Swanepoel strikes again and it's the home skipper Cameron Bancroft.

Swanepoel knows this is good as it moves in a touch and smacks Bancroft on the pads and the umpire confirms it.

The complex of the game changes in the space of 10 minutes.

Durham opener Ben McKinney has his second century of the season!

A superb knock from the left-hander who has reached three figures off 130 balls and has revelled in much better batting conditions today.

He has helped put his side in a very strong position, hitting 10 fours so far, as Durham's lead nears 300 with eight wickets still in hand and still a day and one session remaining.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:24 BST 22 August

    Sibley c Verreynne b Stone 6 (Surrey 10-1 v Notts - target: 329)

Olly Stone has a seventh in the match!

Dom Sibley can do little but nudge this one, from his former Warwickshire teammate, through to Kyle Verreynne and Notts have a crucial early breakthrough in their defence.

  8. 100 runs

    Lancashire v Northants 104-0 - lead by 251

This is a gentle afternoon's exercise for openers Ricardo Vasconcelos and Luke Procter.

Their stand is into three figures at well over four-an-over.

The overall lead is 251 and they may only need 20-odd more overs at this rate or a bit more before they decide to send Lancashire back in.

  9. Postpublished at 15:22 BST 22 August

    Leicestershire 247-9 v Glamorgan (lead by 246)

It took Josh Hull 22 balls to get off the mark, but he does so when playing a Timm van der Gugten delivery late past the slip cordon.

It is a frustrating over for van der Gugten, who is taken for 11 runs including a boundary from Tom Scriven (34*) and this 10th wicket stand remains both highly useful to Leicestershire and also rather irritating to Glamorgan.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:21 BST 22 August

    Young lbw Crocombe 10 (Warks 42-3 v Sussex - target 203)

All results - apart from a draw - very much possible now.

Will Young clips Henry Crocombe square for four but the Sussex paceman strikes two balls later as the New Zealander falls leg before to one that kept just a little low.

Warwickshire need another 161 as Vansh Jani comes to the crease.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:20 BST 22 August

    Phillips c Cullen b Swanepoel 35 (Glos 74-1 v Worcs - trail by 43)

Joy for the Pears as they finally have a second innings wicket.

A fourth stump line from Beyers Swanepoel and Joe Phillips is tempted.

The error is fatal as he edges behind and he departs with his side still in arrears despite a decent start.

  12. Postpublished at 15:17 BST 22 August

    Warks 38-2 v Sussex - target 203

Too straight from Jaydev Unadkat, who is whipped through mid-wicket for four by Dan Mousley.

There are 54 more overs scheduled and Warwickshire require another 165 to win. Sussex need eight wickets.

    Surrey 8-0 v Notts (Target: 329)

It took Dom Sibley 11 deliveries to get off the mark, but he does so in style when expertly driving Brett Hutton through extra cover for four.

This match is beautifully poised; the target is both gettable and defendable.

    Rhodes lbw b Andersson 52 (Derbyshire v Durham 157-2 - lead by 284)

    Plumb lbw.

It looked like it kept a little low on Will Rhodes who goes for 52 and the partnership worth 157 with Ben McKinney comes to an end.

Derbyshire finally make the breakthrough after striking with the very first ball of Durham's second innings.

  15. Postpublished at 15:13 BST 22 August

    Somerset v Essex 215-3 - trail by 96

With only six overs to go before the new ball is due, Somerset call up Lewis Goldsworthy for a short spell.

Essex are currently reaping the benefits of a positive approach - especially from Charlie Allison - but they settle for a couple of singles in that over.

  16. wicket

    Bess c Brown b Organ 23 (Hants v Yorkshire 283-9 - lead by 259)

    Much needed wicket for Hampshire.

It's a soft dismissal for Dom Bess, who looks to turn away a drag down legside delivery from Felix Organ but can only feather one behind the stumps to Ben Brown who makes a simple catch.

Last man in for Yorkshire, Ben Coad.

  17. Postpublished at 15:11 BST 22 August

    Leicestershire 232-9 v Glamorgan - lead by 231

This has been a frustrating 10th wicket partnership, worth currently 16, which Glamorgan are struggling to break at the moment.

Josh Hull has been watchful at one end while letting Tom Scriven add runs to Leicestershire's total - it is a dynamic which is working for the home side right now.

  18. 6 runs

Postpublished at 15:10 BST 22 August

    Derbyshire v Durham 150-1 - lead by 277

Back-to-back sixes from Ben McKinney who goes down town and hammers Shoaib Bashir back over his head to move onto 89 not out.

That also brings up Durham's 150 and the 150 partnership between McKinney and Will Rhodes.

  19. Postpublished at 15:08 BST 22 August

    Hants v Yorkshire 283-8 - lead by 259

A powerful pull shot through deep mid-wicket from George Hill races to the boundary and sees him move to 34 not out.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:07 BST 22 August

    Malik c Simpson b Unadkat 16 (Warks 25-2 - target 203)

    Both Warwickshire openers gone.

No idea what Zen Malik was trying to do there - leave it or dab it to third man - but he only succeeds in edging Jaydev Unadkat to the keeper.

New Zealander Will Young is in at four for the Bears, who need another 178 to win.
