A 78-year-old cyclist has died from his injuries more than three weeks after a crash with a car, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to the A1156 Felixstowe Road, near Trinity Park, in Ipswich, just after 17:15 BST on 6 October.

Suffolk Police said the man had suffered "potentially life-threatening injuries" in a collision with a black Hyundai Tucson.

He was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge, where he was pronounced dead on 29 October.

Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage have been asked to contact the police's Joint Norfolk & Suffolk Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
