Somerset 47-2 - target 287 to beat Yorkshire

Henry Nicholls is onto 19 for Somerset and Tom Lammonby has 15.

How the visitors need these two to stick around for a while. Their partnership of 27 is the best of this run chase so far.

  2. Postpublished at 17:12 BST 17 September

Leics 126-2 (target 334 to beat Hampshire)

Too straight from Scott Currie and Rehan Ahmed gets away with a leg bye.

Hamza Shaikh drops the third ball into the leg side for a tight single. Good running.

Ahmed gets one deflecting to backward square leg. There is an air of calm to this Leicestershire innings, which is remarkable under the circumstances.

    Sussex 358 v Notts 240 & 99-3

Notts need a bit more of this.

Jack Haynes hits Jaydev Unadkat for one four and then another, punching through the covers to the boundary.

    Eight from the over.

    Surrey 115 & 132-2 v Glamorgan 132 & 594

Surrey clearly don't want spinner Mason Crane to settle.

They hit 12 off his first over of the match including a six over mid wicket from Ollie Pope.

  5. Postpublished at 17:08 BST 17 September

Leics 123-2 (target 334 to beat Hampshire)

    Single to Rehan Ahmed.

Hamza Shaikh is forward, pushing a single into the off side.

We have a slip and a silly mid on in place as Ahmed defends.

The fifth ball is flicked away leg side for one.

  6. Postpublished at 17:06 BST 17 September

Leics 120-2 (target 334 to beat Hampshire)

Full and a touch leg side from Scott Currie.

Hamza Shaikh tucks the ball away via mid-wicket for four.

Lovely timing, moving across and closing the blade late.

He had nearly nicked off on a cut shot earlier in the over.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:04 BST 17 September

    Clarke c Clark b Karvelas 4 (Sussex 358 v Notts 240 & 90-3)

That's the biggest wicket of all in the Notts batting line-up.

Ari Karvelas is on a roll for Sussex as he finds Joe Clarke's outside edge and Tom Clark takes an excellent catch going to his left in the slips.

A third wicket of the innings for Karvelas and he's sent Division One's leading run scorer back to the pavilion for just four runs.

Notts are still 28 behind Sussex.

  8. Stokes battingpublished at 17:03 BST 17 September

    Durham 465 & 100-4 v Worcestershire 448

This is definitely a wobble by Durham now.

Worcestershire seamer Ben Allison has just pinned the dangerous Colin Ackermann lbw to leave them 100-4 with a lead of 117.

It brings Ben Stokes to the crease...

  9. Postpublished at 17:02 BST 17 September

Leics 116-2 (target 334 to beat Hampshire)

The wind is blowing around Grace Road as Felix Organ comes in for his sixth over.

Single to Rehan Ahmed to mid on.

We have a slip in for new batter Hamza Shaikh. He's off the mark clipping the ball leg side.

Ahmed is across the line pushing down the ground for a single.

    Shaikh sweeps for one more.

I think Somerset need to worry about beating Yorkshire rather than about what Warwickshire or Nottinghamshire are doing. If they win this match and the next one they will very likely be champions.

Leics 112-2 (target 334 to beat Hampshire)

The tails are up somewhat for the Hampshire bowlers.

Scott Currie surprises Rehan Ahmed with a bit of extra bounce outside off - and the latter sways back to evade it.

Currie is getting some outswing and Ahmed is a little jumpy defending.

Ahmed gets one, pushing to wide mid on.

  12. Postpublished at 16:57 BST 17 September

    Sussex 358 v Notts 240 & 90-2

Division One's leading run scorer Joe Clarke is at the crease now for Notts and he gets off the mark by working it down to third man for four off Ari Karvelas.

Jack Clark gives chase and almost gets there but his desperate dive isn't enough to prevent the boundary.

  13. 50 runs

50 for Patelpublished at 16:56 BST 17 September

    Surrey 115 & 108-2 v Glamorgan 132 & 594

There's not been a lot of confidence shown by Surrey's batters this season but Ryan Patel is playing nicely here.

Taking advantage of an attacking field set by Glamorgan, who have nothing to lose. he's producing some eye catching shots.

He hasn't had to do much running striking ten fours and a six.

Leicestershire need to be careful now. They can't allow one to become two, to become three.

Gumbs c Gubbins b Organ 38 (Leics 111-2, target 334 to beat Hampshire)

Leicestershire had been putting pressure on here.

Sheridon Gumbs goes for the airborne route down the ground for six.

But he's out next ball, tossed up by Felix Organ with three fielders on the drive and taken at long off by Nick Gubbins.

    Here's Hamza Shaikh.

  16. Derbyshire all out for 286published at 16:52 BST 17 September

    Northants 310 v Derby 372 & 286

Brett Randell is last out caught in the deep by Harry Conway off Calvin Harrison for a handy 45.

Northants are set to face 15 overs before the close as they start their chase of 349 to win.

Needing a win to regain the second promotion place they'll surely make a go of it but it's a tall order.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:51 BST 17 September

    Hameed c Clark b Karvelas 43 (Sussex 358 v Notts 240 & 86-2)

Notts lose their captain and one of their key batters.

Haseeb Hameed tries to guide Ari Karvelas behind square on the off-side but can only pick out Tom Clark at gully.

It's a great catch low down by Clark and Karvelas now has two wickets in this Notts second innings.

Hameed goes for 43 and the defending champions are two down but still trail by 32.

  18. Postpublished at 16:51 BST 17 September

Single to Rehan Ahmed off an inside edge.

Sheridon Gumbs pushes one into the off side to bring up the 50 partnership in 84 balls.
