Liam Dawson picks out Shadab Khan!

The England batter pulls Razaullah straight to the fielder at backward square.

A second wicket for another promising 21-year-old in Pakistan line-up.

I think England would take 250, but from what I am watching. It does not feel 250 is enough.

If England don't use their allocation of overs it will be appalling.

    Tony, Cheshire

It just shows how much we rely on Joe Root and Harry Brook to score runs, and when they don't we really struggle in both Test and ODI formats.

    Ben, Devon

Good hundred for Ben Duckett, which should hopefully shut a few people up, but think we might be lucky to hit 230-250 here.

  4. Eng 187-7published at 37 overs

New batter Jamie Overton sees out the remainder of the over without scoring.

An excellent over from 21-year-old Arafat Minhas, who took 6-40 against England on Tuesday and is causing trouble again today.

This is why I cannot understand why Arafat Minhas has not bowled before the 30th over.

It is staggering. The way he varies his pace, it can tempt batters to sweep the ball that is not there.

It brings the top edge because Ben Duckett is not at the pitch of the ball.

Arafat Minhas picks up the crucial wicket of Ben Duckett!

The England centurion goes for another sweep shot but doesn't make a clean connection, top-edging aerially to Salman Agha, who is just inside the fielding circle at short fine leg.

England's tail now fully exposed, with 13.3 overs remaining in the innings.

Home alone with a stressed out cat after a difficult night. TMS feeling like a much needed hug in a very British, it would be inappropriate to cuddle on the sofa, kind of way. Hats off to Ben Duckett.

Ben Duckett has stuck to his strengths across his century today, targeting the square boundaries with 75% of his runs coming either side of the wicket.

Six runs off Razaullah's latest effort.

England haven't scored a boundary since the first ball of the 30th over.

Hopefully these inept performances will see the back of Brendon McCullum permanently. No plan B and an arrogance to just play his way.

A couple more singles off the remainder of Arafat Minhas' fourth over.

The left-armer has figures of 0-13 thus far.

Quite brilliant from Ben Duckett given what has happened at the other end.

A real Ben Duckett innings today. He has accumulated, but at a good pace. He has committed to his boundary shots.

When he has played them, he has committed with conviction.

Ben Duckett has played really well as wickets have tumbled around him. He has stayed there as that one force which Pakistan have not been able to break through.

A fifth ODI hundred for Ben Duckett!

He takes a single down the ground off Arafat Minhas' first delivery, reaching his century from 104 balls.

A crucial innings for England - he's scored 56% of England's runs today.

  15. Eng 177-6published at 34 overs

Liam Dawson comes to the crease and takes a single to mid-on from his second delivery.

Ben Duckett hits the following ball out to the left of backward square - it looks like there might be two there, but he only takes the single.

    He moves to 99.

Not good enough. There is no care and no willing with England these days. Ben Duckett has been the only one getting stuck in

I have never seen someone so disappointed to take a wicket.

He has taken his first ODI wicket with a really good catch and bowl and he is completely deadpan.

Will Jacks turns the bat face way too early and Razaullah, left-handed, makes no mistake.

A great return catch from Razaullah!

Will Jacks tries to turn the seamer into the leg side and offers a leading edge.

Razaullah grasps the ball with his left hand just above the ground and Jacks, looking crestfallen, walks off.

For some reason the 21-year-old looks rather sad about his first ODI wicket.

  19. Eng 174-5published at 33 overs

Ben Duckett reverse sweeps Arafat Minhas' final delivery, the last of three singles from the over.

    That takes Duckett to 97.

Will Jacks is starting to feel a little more comfortable, but Pakistan have realigned well after the Ben Duckett and Sam Curran partnership.

Duckett hasn't looked fluent in the series so far, so for him to find that fluency is a heartening thing for him.

He has played a Duckett-style of innings, he has trusted his sweep, he has pulled the ball dominantly and he has punished any width as well.
