  1. Korda misses a chancepublished at 09:42 BST 12 September

    2UP Stark/Grant v Corpuz/Korda (14)

Nelly Korda can't get the break break on a tricky little slider down across the slop on 14, and that's a bullet dodged by the Europeans who remain two up with four to play.

The Swedes are doing their best to close this one out but there's no chance this American pair go quietly.

  2. Match all squarepublished at 09:42 BST 12 September

    Maguire/Henseleit v Kupcho/Zhang A/S (12)

Just like the 11th hole, Jennifer Kupcho is first to putt, across the green. And just like the 11th hole, she hits a decent putt but it doesn't drop.

Esther Henseleit to make amends for a couple of missed putts? And finally the German holes one. Match back level!

  3. US dominating bottom matchpublished at 09:41 BST 12 September

    Hull/Woad v Al Lee/Coughlin 5UP (10)

Lottie Woad fires a wedge into the heart of the green with Europe's third on the 10th but heart of the green is not what they need right now.

Lauren Coughlin chips up the green to leave Alison Lee with a makeable birdie putt.

Pressure on Charley Hull and she is again aggressive with the putt but it dives left at the death.

And Lee to put this match to bed... from four feet... holed.

  4. Postpublished at 09:37 BST 12 September

    Maguire/Henseleit v Kupcho/Zhang 1UP (11)

Both Esther Henseleit and Jen Kupcho are wayward off the 12th tee.

The German finds sand, the American a sandy lie in the rough.

Rose Zhang next to play and she pings the ball into the heart of the green. Pressure on Leona Maguire.

But the Irishwoman is having one of those runs at the moment. That is shot of the day so far. The ball plummets out of the sky and thuds into the green three feet from the hole.

Henseleit surely can't miss another one?

  5. Calamity for USApublished at 09:31 BST 12 September

    2UP Rhodes/Nadaud v Kim/Lee (10)

The Americans produce a complete disaster class on the 10th with all kinds of bunker troubles - hitting the lip out of a fairway trap than thinning one out of the greenside bunker flying the ball over the green into the rough.

And there's still time for Auston Kim to duff a chip before thankfully they're put out of their misery and concede the hole to Europe.

That came from nowhere as the standard had been good, but that was pretty horrific stuff. The good thing about matchplay though is that it only costs one hole.

    Hull/Woad v Al Lee/Coughlin 4UP (9)

Alison Lee is out with a fairway wood on the long 10th and she gives her ball an almighty wallop but still can't reach the green in two. But she's left the ball in the perfect position for Lauren Coughlin, 10 yards short of the green.

Charley Hull can only advance the European ball 100 yards or so down the fairway from the bunker to leave Lottie Woad with a full wedge in.

  7. Postpublished at 09:26 BST 12 September

    Hull/Woad v Al Lee/Coughlin 4UP (9)

What kind of fight will we see from Charley Hull and Lottie Woad on the back nine?

It doesn't start brilliantly with Woad grimacing as she watches her ball bound into a fairway bunker.

  8. Missed chance for Europepublished at 09:25 BST 12 September

    Maguire/Henseleit v Kupcho/Zhang 1UP (11)

Over on the 11th and we about to be back all square?

Jen Kupcho's putt across the green is decent but never looks like it's going in. Par conceded.

Esther Henseleit for the win... no! Another short putt stabbed right by the German who is not having the best day on the greens.

Maguire carrying this pair a little at the moment.

  9. Postpublished at 09:20 BST 12 September

    Maguire/Henseleit v Kupcho/Zhang 1UP (10)

And what better way to follow up a big birdie putt than with a pin-seeker on the next?

Leona Maguire turns the screw on the short 11th with a tee shot in to five feet.

Rose Zhang, fresh off a missed birdie putt, pushes her tee shot a little. She's pin-high but 30 feet from the hole. Feels like a big match for Europe this one.

  10. Europe halve deficitpublished at 09:17 BST 12 September

    Maguire/Henseleit v Kupcho/Zhang 1UP (10)

On the par-five 10th green it's a slight advantage to the US who are in closest after three shots.

But Leona Maguire is Europe's strongest putter and the Irishwoman duly knocks in from 15 feet.

Pressure on Rose Zhang, who has been good with the flatstick so far today. From inside half the European distance to halve the hole... no! Wide right.

  11. Sand savepublished at 09:16 BST 12 September

    2Up Stark/Grant v Corpuz/Korda (12)

Europe end the USA run of holes with a half out of the sand on 12 - and it's almost a win as Linn Grant hits a cracker out of the bunker and almost holes it.

She's got form as she canned one yesterday from out of the sand. Anyway, more importantly the Swedes are not letting that American momentum build.

  12. Postpublished at 09:15 BST 12 September

    Hull/Woad v Al Lee/Coughlin 4UP (9)

Lottie Woad follows the American ball into the centre of the ninth green. Both are around 25 feet from the hole, which will suit the visitors more than the hosts given the match score.

Charley Hull first to putt. Good pace. Good line. Drifts right at the end.

Alison Lee will have been watching that closely. What has she learned? She picked up the line, but not the pace. Hole halved.

  13. Europe turn just in frontpublished at 09:08 BST 12 September

    1UP Rhodes/Nadaud v Kim/Lee (9)

Another great iron shot from Auston Kim sets up the win for the USA as they hit the turn just one back with the European rookie duo making a bogey on the ninth after finding a bunker.

Mimi Rhodes and Nastasia Nadaud are still playing pretty well in what's a high quality contest - that was in fact the first bogey either pair have made today.

  14. Make that two back...published at 09:05 BST 12 September

    2Up Stark/Grant v Corpuz/Korda (11)

Hello! All of a sudden this big lead in the top match doesn't look so big as Nelly Korda lands a long putt on the 11th to make it back-to-back wins for the USA to cut that four-hole lead in half.

That's why this USA pair are unbeaten and although Maja Stark and Linn Grant still lead by two there must be some nerves building knowing exactly what their opponents can do.

Still, if they stay calm they'll remember the Americans have made two birdies, they've not given holes away, and they still lead by two with seven to play. It's nowhere near as comfortable as it was just a couple of holes ago though.

  15. Woad saver for Europepublished at 09:02 BST 12 September

    Hull/Woad v Al Lee/Coughlin 4UP (8)

Charley Hull plays a delightful wedge out of the sand on the eighth to leave Lottie Woad with a five-footer for birdie.

Alison Lee is also accurate with her chip from short of the green and Lauren Coughlin will putt first from about seven feet.

Coughlin drains the putt. This now becomes must make for Woad to halt a run of four hole losses on the trot.

It's left edge and the ball drops. Rot stopped?

  16. USA pull one backpublished at 08:57 BST 12 September

    3UP Stark/Grant v Corpuz/Korda (10)

A rare poor shot from Linn Grant with a wedge in hand and that leaves the door open for the USA to pull a hole back.

The Swedes still don't make a bogey, getting their par, but a birdie wins it for the USA, could the fightback be on?

  17. Big chance missedpublished at 08:56 BST 12 September

    Maguire/Henseleit v Kupcho/Zhang 2UP (9)

We're not seeing much of this match. But they are on the ninth green.

Jen Kupcho is standing over an eight-footer for par. A bend of the knees doesn't help the ball turn and drop into the hole.

That leaves Esther Henseleit with a short one to claw a hole back for the Europeans. Wow. Pushed it. A missed putt from three feet. Yikes.

  18. Rhodes doubles Europe leadpublished at 08:55 BST 12 September

    2UP Rhodes/Nadaud v Kim/Lee (8)

Auston Kim lips out on a long-range putt on the eighth and that leaves Mimi Rhodes the simple task of knocking in a short one to double Europe's lead in this match.

With the USA well up in two matches and Europe well ahead in another this one was the only match with just a one-hole lead. And it looks crucial to Anna Nordqvist's side in this session.

  19. Postpublished at 08:53 BST 12 September

    Hull/Woad v Al Lee/Coughlin 4UP (7)

On to the par-four eighth and a bit of a wait on the tee for the green to clear. Will that help the European pair?

Lauren Coughlin up first and she drills her shot short of the putting surface.

Lottie Woad lets rip but her ball bounds into a greenside bunker.

  20. Hull & Woad continue to mis-firepublished at 08:46 BST 12 September

    Hull/Woad v Al Lee/Coughlin 4UP (7)

Alison Lee and Lauren Coughlin are playing some excellent golf this morning and they are in close again for a birdie try on the par-four seventh.

Lottie Woad's second into the green is superb for distance, 15 feet right of the hole though. And Charley Hull races the birdie try long.

Alison Lee from half that distance. Boom. Four up. Wow.
