A collector has set a Guinness World Record by opening trading card packs while strapped to the wing of a vintage aircraft flying over Kent.

Coby Bull, 33, opened seven packs in 60 seconds during a wing walk at Headcorn Aerodrome near Ashford.

The daredevil stunt took place on board a 1940s Boeing Stearman biplane flying at speeds of up to 120mph and about 600ft (180m) above the Kent countryside.

Bull said the excitement of breaking the record "definitely hasn't" worn off and it was something he would remember for the rest of his life.

The record, for the most trading card packs opened during a wing walk in one minute, required at least six packs to be opened.

Bull managed to open seven packs of 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update Series Basketball hobby cards.

His stunt took place on 13 October and was officially confirmed by Guinness World Records the following day.

"I think the adrenaline has finally worn off, but the excitement definitely hasn't," he said.

"My heart was thumping and my hands went totally numb," he said.

"I was trying my hardest to concentrate. The wind was pulling at every wrapper, and I only had 60 seconds. Seven packs felt like 70.

"People must think I'm a lunatic for standing strapped to the wing of a moving plane just opening cards for the thrill of it."

He said he loved the Kent countryside and "couldn't think of a more beautiful location for the attempt than the Garden of England".

"The views from up there were absolutely unreal," he added.

Asked what he would do next, Bull said it was a "million-dollar question", adding: "I'm not sure how you top opening trading cards on the wing of a plane, but I'm certainly going to try. Maybe in a shark tank?"

Though he wanted to give his feet "a little time on the ground first", he said: "The crazier the idea sounds, the more I want to make it happen."
